Online Integration is the process by which a normally non-Internet enabled process is "put on the internet" so that others can view and/or interact with it. This can be as simple as a webcam or something as complex as process control where public or private visitors can interact with a process and control it. Some examples of this type of technology where Valeo has been involved are shown below:
http://www.holidayautomation.com - This site attempts to bring the excitement of the holidays to the internet by allowing visitors to interact with various unattended displays. During Christmas (aka http://www.christmasautomation.com), visitors are treated to a holiday display that can be controlled by clicking various items on a live webcam and bring them to life! Visitors from all over the world have visited and enjoyed turning on and off holiday lights and watching them change live on a webcam! During other holidays, other types of displays can be interacted with. Stay tuned for more examples of Online Integration!
